The love of photography began with a family interested that goes back three generations. For many years, I enjoyed taking photographs to illustrate stories for newspapers and magazine features. Correspondents at the newspaper and at magazines I freelanced for were paid for not only the story, but the photographs published with it. Often, original stories and photographs could be republished in magazines or newspapers. One feature story, with color or black and white photos, was re-published six times! Today, my interest in photography continues both for fun, research and for illustrating projects.
