As a lifelong student of writing, Connie has expertise in many genres. Her newspaper features have covered entire pages, and she has provided photos for many of her printed stories. She writes and edits a quarterly newsletter for the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators--Iowa Region, and acts as public relations person for the Bettendorf High School Goldusters Dance and Pom Team.

She is an instructor of writing for children and adults through established programs and for individuals. Connie has served as a consultant and editor for books written by other authors, and has enjoyed success in producing the following kinds of manuscripts, based on client needs:
